The HOA board is currently searching for light fixtures to replace all the brass-colored fixtures on the garages, outside the front doors, and on the porches. Below you can see pictures of some of the fixtures we've seen so far that may work. In general, our goal is to find sturdy, affordable fixtures that allow bulb replacement from the bottom. We welcome your opinions and suggestions.

Springville City Water Billing

11:49 AM Wednesday, January 22, 2014

The Springville City Council recently amended the water billing rates. The focus of the rework was to appropriately bill those living on the left fork in Hobble Creek Canyon, but the general rates do apply to us since our water flows through a master meter. Below is the link to the revision approved yesterday.

Love's opening delayed

7:40 AM Friday, January 3, 2014

Today we heard from Love's that they have delayed opening until late January or early February.

This video is easy to follow. The only equipment required is a phillips head screwdriver. I spent about 30 minutes cleaning mine, and the first 10 minutes were just trying to understand how it got so gross in the first place.  The difference in suction is noticeable, though, so this was definitely worth it for me. Good luck!

Pool/Clubhouse

7:48 PM Thursday, November 14, 2013

The HOA boards for Five Star and Brookline have agreed to continue the pool and clubhouse rental arrangement through 2014. Beginning in 2015, the tentative plan is to discontinue our community-wide support (approximately $240/unit/yr). Brookline is considering the idea of allowing individual owners/residents to pay a usage fee, but there is no concrete information on that idea yet.Thank you to the owners/residents who provided feedback on this issue last month. If you have questions or would like to provide information, you can comment here or you can email us at fivestarhoa@gmail.com.

We are pleased to announce that there will be no increase in the association fees for 2014. Our community savings account has been growing over the past several years, and while we still have financial goals to meet, we are in a position that we can avoid an increase this year.
